One of the most annoying tech things is mobile keyboards that try to cram so much into a small space that they eliminate necessary keys when there are others I would much rather eliminate. That problem can be taken care of with the Nemeio E Ink keyboard that made its debut at CES 2019. It allows for custom layouts.

Wouldn’t it be great to have all the keys on the keyboard set up the way you want them? That’s easily done with the Nemeio E Ink Keyboard.
The keyboard has software that allows you that customization of each and every key. It has transparent keys on a backlit E ink display. You can either customize the keys to predetermined layouts – QWERTY, AZERTY, or Bépo – or set to your own design. You can even set it to change automatically to different layouts between programs.
When setting keys to your own design, you can drag and drop tools and app icons from other apps to the keyboard. This will then allow it to launch your favorite apps and use the tools from those apps at the same time. Toggle between configurations with the navigation buttons on the side.
It features a USB type-C port and Bluetooth connectivity and works with smartphones, tablets, video projectors, smart TVs and computers.
Whether you’re a touch typist or just use a hunt-and-peck method, you want to have a keyboard that works for you. Some mobile keyboards annoyingly don’t include a Tab key or get rid of one of the Shift keys. With this keyboard, you can put those keys back and get rid of something else you don’t use,
Can you see a use for the Nemeio E Ink keyboard? Would it solve some keyboard problems for you to have these options? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
